This illustration was inspired by the animated music video “Starlight Brigade” by TWRP, creating my own take on a creature from that universe. I used a combination of effects to simulate the grainy appearance of an older animation, much like the music video itself did.

I originally made this as an exercise to practice using some new Photoshop weathering brushes and Effects from True Grit Supply Company. Now the character I call Valreus lives on through a DnD campaign I play with my friends!

This new character, set to appear in the new Ratchet and Clank game, blew up after the trailer was first released. So I decided to jump in and draw my own rendition of her as practice.

Meet Arabella Grey, a goblin bard and my latest DnD character drawing! I really wanted to push myself with her, so I paid extra attention to the way her kilted skirt was colored so that I looked authentic!
